About Airfox

This is the official Airfox publication. Product launches, ecosystem updates, governance results, and security disclosures are posted here first. Reference material (guides, contract addresses, fee schedules) lives in the documentation.

The project​

Airfox is a community-driven, privately owned multichain gaming and infrastructure platform. It was founded and is backed by the former Shiba Inu security team, and it is not venture-capital owned. Airfox is backed by Polygon through Thrive Protocol.

The platform is three products:

  • Airfox Arcade: a Web3 gaming platform on Base with free hosting for developers, play-and-earn rewards for players, and 40+ live games.
  • SkyBridge: a cross-chain bridge for ERC-20 tokens, ERC-721 NFTs, and native ETH, live on mainnet across twelve chains: Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum One, Polygon, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Unichain, Soneium, Ink, MegaETH, and Robinhood Chain. Each asset routes over the most native rail available rather than a single wrapped path.
  • Stratus: a multichain token and NFT launchpad built on SkyBridge, letting a token or NFT collection go live natively across every supported chain at once. In active development, currently on testnets.

Arcade and SkyBridge share an ecosystem rewards system called Foxtails.

Airfox Arcade operates under a compliance-first architecture: no custody of user funds, geo-blocking and sanctions screening, and KYC on every individual holding governance or access-control authority.

AFX and governance​

AFX is a consumable utility token, issued to access services on the platform. It launched on Ethereum in July 2023. Holding AFX does not represent equity, and it carries no dividend, voting, or asset rights in any legal entity.

Governance runs through the Airfox DAO on Snapshot, where AFX holders vote on non-binding proposals. Submitting a proposal requires 10,000,000 AFX, voting runs seven days, and votes are signature-based, so casting one costs no gas.

A note on the archive​

Posts published before July 2026 refer to the project as Aviator and to the token as AVI. Those are the same project and the same token under their former names, Aviator became Airfox and AVI became AFX in July 2026. Historical posts are kept exactly as published rather than retroactively edited.
