"Measure twice, cut once." - Proverb

Last time, we said we'd keep you updated as Stratus got closer to launch. Here's where things stand: Stratus contracts are now deployed on Ethereum and Robinhood Chain.

That's a big step, but it doesn't mean we're ready to open just yet. The contracts are live, and we're putting the finishing touches on the app that brings everything together. We want to make sure it's ready before anyone starts using it.

Here's a look at what we've done, what's left, and what you can expect when Stratus opens.

The Hacken Scan

If you've been with us for a while, Hacken is a familiar name. They're a blockchain security firm, and they've been part of our story since early 2024, when SkyBridge went through its first audit with them and received a perfect 10/10 security score. A second audit followed later that year. Across both audits, Hacken found no critical issues, and every security finding was resolved.

You can read both reports on Hacken's site. SkyBridge was also the first project to set up custom automated disaster response with Hacken Extractor.

A year ago today, on November 3, 2025, Stratus was a supporting sponsor of Hacken's TRUST Summit at the Nasdaq MarketSite in New York, an invite-only gathering of leaders from finance, policy, and technology focused on the security of digital assets.

So when it came time to check Stratus before mainnet, we went back to Hacken. We ran the Stratus contracts through Hacken AI, their automated security scanner, using free AI credits Hacken gave us. Thank you to the Hacken team for that.

The scan returned ten findings: none critical, three high, six medium, and one low. We reviewed each one, fixed all ten, and added tests for every fix. The full test suite passed before deployment.

A few of the fixes are worth highlighting:

  • Hard limits on admin settings. Some settings can be adjusted by the Stratus admin, but they shouldn't be adjustable without limits. For example, the minimum liquidity lock could previously be set to zero. We've added safeguards directly into the contracts, so locks can never be shorter than 30 days, regardless of who holds the admin keys.
  • Fees are always collected. When a liquidity lock expires and the creator withdraws, all outstanding trading fees are collected and distributed first. There's no way to skip this step, including for fees earned right before withdrawal.
  • Our fees never come from your token. Stratus collects its share of trading fees from the ETH or stablecoin side of a pool, never from the project's own token. The contracts now determine which side to collect from automatically.
  • Staking rewards follow a clear rule. Only full-range liquidity positions count toward staking rewards. This keeps the reward system straightforward and closes off a way the distribution could have been gamed. We can add support for concentrated positions in a future upgrade.

The remaining fixes were smaller improvements to the contracts' overall security and reliability. We've also sent Hacken a detailed response addressing all ten findings.

Practice Runs

Once contracts are deployed to mainnet, there's no going back. That's why we took the time to rehearse the entire process before making anything permanent.

We rehearsed the full deployment on the Ethereum and Robinhood Chain testnets, and on copies of both chains taken from their live state using the exact settings planned for launch. After addressing the scan findings, we ran the rehearsal on the chain copies again using the final code.

Only after everything worked as expected did we proceed with mainnet deployment.

The source code for every Stratus contract we've deployed is now published and verified on Etherscan and the Robinhood Chain explorer. Anyone can inspect the code and see exactly what's running.

Who Holds the Keys

Stratus has its own multisig wallets, separate from the rest of Airfox.

Here's how they're set up:

  • Admin: 3 of 5 multisig. Responsible for managing the contract factories and curated hook list. Any change requires approval from at least three of five signers.
  • Fees: 2 of 3 multisig. Receives Stratus's share of platform fees across both chains.

There's one final step here. The deployment key currently holds admin control over the factories while the initial setup is completed. We'll transfer that control to the Admin multisig on both chains and verify that the deployment key no longer has any permissions.

Once that's done, no single person will be able to make administrative changes alone.

It's also worth noting that the admin cannot modify pools after they've been launched. Liquidity locks, tax rates, and fee destinations are set at creation, and the admin can't change them afterward. The creator can still extend their own lock, but no one can otherwise change its terms.

What You Can Do on Day One

When Stratus opens, you'll be able to:

  • Launch a SKY-20 token with the same address on Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, and every chain Stratus adds in the future.
  • Lock liquidity in a Uniswap v4 pool and continue earning trading fees while it's locked.
  • Set a trading tax directly at the pool level.

SkyBridge is already configured to recognize Stratus tokens on both Ethereum and Robinhood Chain.

There's more coming, too. Bonding curve sales, NFT collections and drops, and staking are all part of the broader Stratus ecosystem. Their contracts are already deployed, and we'll enable each feature in the app as its interface is ready.

Launching a token is free. You'll only pay the network gas required for the transaction, and we don't take any share of your token supply.

Pool locks, drops, and bonding curve sales have their own fees. You can find the full breakdown on our Stratus fees page.

What's Left

The heavy lifting on the contracts is done. Now it's about bringing everything together.

We're connecting the app to the mainnet contracts, finishing the remaining screens, and testing the full experience from start to finish. We also need to complete the transfer of admin control to the Admin multisig.

We don't have a launch date to share just yet. We'll announce one when the app is ready, rather than rush to put a date on the calendar.

Thanks for flying with us. 🦊✈️
